Meet Our Leadership Team
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Grose has been involved in the Specialty Chemical and Water Treatment business since 1989. Comtech was founded in 1997 based on Mr. Grose’s passionate pursuit of solving big problems. As Comtech’s CEO, Mr. Grose is responsible for commercializing innovation for the company and its affiliates. Mr. Grose’s accomplishments have been recognized by large E&P companies, trade organizations and as an E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year Award winner.
Prior to founding Comtech, Mr. Grose was part of the Basic Industry group at Nalco Chemical specializing in raw and waste water clarification, boiler and cooling system treatment, and fuel oil additives for a variety of industrial accounts.
He is a long-time resident of the Pittsburgh area and attended South Park High School and the University of Pittsburgh. He currently resides in Washington, PA with his wife and two children.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Gevaudan spent eight years working with The Hillman Company and the last six years in financial leadership roles with local manufacturing and technology companies. In his current role as CFO, he is responsible for managing the finance and accounting functions, and is focused on building an efficient infrastructure to manage key business processes and contract compliance.
Mr. Gevaudan is a long-time Pittsburgh resident, having attended Central Catholic High School and earning his BS in Accounting from Duquesne University. He later earned his MBA at the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. He remains active in his community serving as a volunteer for Central Catholic’s Viking Victory Auction and as Finance Council member for Sacred Heart Church in Emsworth. He enjoys coaching girls’ basketball at St. James School in Sewickley, PA.
With 15 years’ experience as a structural engineer in public consulting and private industry, Chris moved to the Oil and Gas Sector to apply his background and experience to the challenges of service operations. Chris’ experience with change implementation, strategic planning, leadership and framework development compliment the process improvements and Lean Sigma efficiency strategies employed in the tactical operations environment. Client relations, innovation and a focus on culture and opportunity round out Chris’ strategic focus.
Chris earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Penn State and an MBA from Waynesburg University, with a focus on Leadership and HR Management. Chris is a licensed Professional Engineer in 12 U.S. States and Canada. Chris earned his PMP certification in 2018.
Chris is a U.S. Army veteran and graduate of Leadership Washington County. He lives in Canonsburg, PA with his wife and three girls.
